Tee Covers

Implementing practices in the late fall and winter can give you a head start in the upcoming season.  One of these are covering tees that get a lot of wear and tear.  Typically they are par three and drop area tees, but some smaller par four tees in bad areas also get covered.  Tees get covered before winter to insulate the soil creating a warming effect in hopes that you can increase germination and growth earlier in the season than normal.  Unfortunately, due to the increase in temperature underneath the covers you must monitor for the onset of disease.  To offset this we spray a fungicide before we cover the tees to reduce any damage that might occur.
