Clearing Out #12 Wood Line

One of the last spots throughout the course that hasn't been cleared out yet is #12 hill.  By removing the brush and about half the trees in the wood line we hope this allows golfers to find their ball quicker and speed up pace of play.

Once all trees and debris were removed Asst. Mike sprayed hydro-seed.   This helps prevent erosion and gives the seed a jump start for early spring germination.

Golfers should have a much easier time finding their ball.

Tree removal and maintenance is a yearly project.  Disease, turf decline, playability, aesthetics, safety, and many other factors all come into play when deciding to remove trees.  After several years of growth the tenth hole was suffering from many of these factors.
