Greens Dormant Feed

Any step you can make in the winter that will help you in the spring is vital.  One of these is applying an organic fertilizer to greens and approaches, which will help hasten spring green up.  Golfers are itching to get out on the course after being cooped up inside all winter long.  Unfortunately if the grass isn't actively growing the plant won't be able to take on the normal wear and tear that comes with daily rounds.  So by applying a quarter to a half pound of nitrogen on greens you can speed up the biological clock in the spring time, making you and the golfers happy.
