Irrigation System Blowout

It's that time of year again!  Time to blow out the irrigation system.  This is a yearly process in which all the water left in the piping and irrigation heads is blown out.  This is done so no water is left to freeze and expand causing lines or heads to break.  We hook up a very large air compressor to the mainline irrigation pipe and push the water out through the irrigation heads.  This process takes a day to complete and we go around two times to make sure all the water is out.  Prior to hooking up the air compressor valves are closed off to make sure no air escapes back into the pump house, which could cause damage to the electronic equipment.
